HogsheadHogshead Amber is an American Amber Ale. The recipe was conceived from a certain Caribbean Brewery, but slight modifications were made to meet Forbidden Peak Brewery standards. The definition of a Hogshead is a large cask of liquid, often containing beer. The true definition notes that the cask is often a barrel. However, it was clear to the crew at Forbidden Peak that the definition read: a Hogshead is a large cask of liquid, often containing beer and is usually known as a “Growler”. The Forbidden Peak Squatch has often been seen drinking “Growlers” of the Hogshead Amber, usually on the weekends. The Amber was released December 11th, 2007 to help celebrate Justin’s birthday. We hope you enjoy the beer and as always, remember that beer is fun.
